About the Role
As Headteacher You will be responsible for:
1. Providing strategic and operational leadership that fosters a positive, high‑performing school culture
2. Leading the ongoing development of your school, ensuring strong academic outcomes and a rich, inclusive pupil experience
3. Championing excellence in teaching, learning and assessment across all ages and abilities
4. Building, developing and motivating a cohesive staff team, aligned to clear values and high expectations
5. Ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, wellbeing and pastoral care
6. Overseeing effective school operations, including financial sustainability and resource management
7. Engaging confidently and professionally with parents, colleagues and the wider community
8. Contributing to the wider growth and development of the organisation, including future opportunities and new provision

Who We Are Looking For
Essential Skills, Qualities and Experience
9. Proven leadership experience as a Headteacher or senior school leader
10. A strong track record of delivering high-quality educational outcomes
11. Strategic thinker with the ability to lead, influence and manage change
12. An inspirational and authentic leader with excellent communication skills
13. Ability to build trusting relationships and lead high‑performing teams
14. Sound understanding of school operations, compliance and safeguarding requirements
15. Resilient, adaptable and forward‑thinking approach to leadership
16. NPQH (completed or actively working towards)
17. Experience or strong knowledge of ISI and/or Ofsted frameworks
Desirable Skills and Experience
18. Experience within the independent education sector
19. Leadership experience during periods of growth, transformation or change
20. Commercial awareness and understanding of school sustainability
21. A commitment to innovation and continuous improvement
22. Passion for developing people and nurturing future leaders
