With a headcount of around 30 highly skilled professionals, they combine the technical standards of a large institution with the personal, approachable culture of a boutique firm.
They specialise in providing tailored advice across pre- and post-retirement planning, lifetime allowance strategies, tax-efficient retirement solutions, and estate planning. Following the recent acquisition of a well-regarded wealth planning practice in Saffron Walden, they are expanding their team and seeking an experienced Wealth Planner to play a key role in supporting and growing long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities
My client is seeking a talented Wealth Planner to join their growing team. This is a client-facing role where you’ll manage and develop strong relationships with existing clients, delivering high-quality financial planning and advice across retirement, tax, and estate planning needs.
You’ll be part of a professional, collaborative team that prides itself on delivering a first-class service, while working in a supportive environment where your skills and ideas will be valued.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing a portfolio of existing clients, delivering comprehensive financial planning.
* Meeting agreed fee targets and KPIs.
* Providing professional, tailored financial advice with clarity and integrity.
* Undertaking client reviews at agreed intervals.
* Supporting and assisting in marketing initiatives.
* Maintaining the highest compliance and professional standards.
* Committing to continuous professional development.
Qualifications
* At least 3 years’ experience in private client wealth planning.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to build trust and inspire confidence.
* Commercial mindset, with motivation and ambition to succeed.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to create effective solutions.
* High attention to detail, numeracy, and accuracy.
* Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
* A collaborative, team-oriented approach combined with self-motivation.
* Competence with CRM systems, cashflow planning tools, investment research software, and Microsoft Office.
* Minimum Level 4 qualified and working towards Chartered Financial Planner status (or equivalent).
