The Position: We are looking for an engaged and enthusiastic Project Assistant to support our Terrestrial Ecology team on a fixed-term basis, during a busy summer season. No prior knowledge of ecology is required, but a willingness to engage and ability to learn quickly will be beneficial. You will be supporting the Ecology team on a variety of ad-hoc, administrative and project-based tasks. This role provides a great insight and an opportunity to gain further understanding of ecology. Location: Birmingham (Kenilworth) Hybrid, with at least 3 days in the office per week. Salary: from £25,063 per annum Requirements The ideal candidate will: Be self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly. Have confidence to work independently with support and guidance where required, and as part of a team. Be a great communicator, comfortable with making phone calls and drafting professional emails. Have good time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Be able to quickly understand project requirements and adapt to new tasks efficiently. Able to start full time until end of October 2026. Be located within 1 hour's commute from our Birmingham (Kenilworth) office. All applicants must be based in the UK with the Right to Work in the UK. It would be advantageous if you also had the following: Full UK Driving License and own car, which can be insured for business use. First Aid at Work certification.
