This role has become available following a planned team change and offers the right candidate the opportunity to step into a well-rounded position that blends technical automation expertise with hands-on support and customer-facing interaction. The company specialises in motors, gearboxes, VSDs, soft starts, switchgear, PLCs and HMIs, with automation projects primarily supporting product sales and post-sales service. The successful candidate will work on a variety of interesting projects, including PLC programming, technical support, training, and site commissioning. Top 3 Things to Know About this Job: Salary range: Very competitive market salary DOE + bonus Flexible working: Hybrid/ad hoc working available, based on project needs Varied role: Programming, commissioning, customer support, and training The Role: Design, program and commission PLC and HMI systems (Hitachi and WEG platforms) Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers across NI Deliver training and technical guidance on automation products Support the internal sales and product teams on automation-related projects Carry out occasional site visits for installations and commissioning (approx. 3-4 times per year) Contribute to process improvements and support internal knowledge sharing The Person: HND or higher in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or similar.
