About the Role
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are on the lookout for a Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Engineering Team at our food crumbing and coating production facility in Gainsborough. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our plant operates at peak performance by performing both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on our assets.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a unique 4-on, 4-off shift schedule, allowing for a great work-life balance!

Key Responsibilities
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will:
* Comply with health and safety policies and regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to minimize risks.
* Lock off dangerous machinery and notify for repairs.
* Resolve breakdowns and carry out PMs to minimize production downtime.
* Proactively undertake PMs on offline machinery when time allows.
* Complete PM sheets with observations and recommendations, filing them with the Maintenance Planner.
* Gather information from production personnel to expedite fault-finding.
* Maintain accurate engineering logs and computer systems with relevant information.
* Communicate professionally with external contacts, reflecting the company profile.
What Do I Need to Bring to the Role?
* HNC, City & Guilds, or time-served apprenticeship with relevant engineering qualifications.
* Experience in a similar role, ideally within a food manufacturing environment; experience in any manufacturing setting is also valued.
* Multi-skilled with a strong electrical background.
* Essential experience with pneumatics, packaging machinery, and fault-finding abilities.
* Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a strong advantage.
* A flexible approach with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
* Experience with SAP is a plus.
