As a Sales Trainer, you’ll play a central role in enabling our Enrolment & Retention Advisors to succeed—equipping them with the skills, tools, and mindset needed to convert student enquiries into enrolments and support long-term retention. What You’ll Be Doing As a key member of our Enrolment & Retention Services team, you’ll lead the full training lifecycle—from onboarding and live instruction to coaching and performance analysis. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and delivering structured sales training programmes across the full sales cycle —from lead engagement through to enrolment and retention Conducting live training sessions (both in-person and virtual), including role plays, call listening, and feedback Collaborating with business leaders to assess training needs and develop tailored coaching plans Providing regular feedback and performance tracking for new and existing team members Building engaging training content aligned with HEP’s methodology, in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and university stakeholders Reporting on training effectiveness using learner outcomes and KPIs, and recommending improvements to senior leadership Leading onboarding and induction training to accelerate new hire performance Supporting quality assurance through call reviews, performance audits, and process improvements Maintaining training materials to reflect programme updates, compliance, and best practices Fostering a positive, motivating, and high-performance team culture Staying up to date with best practices in sales training, customer experience, and adult learning Providing flexible support across the department and undertaking other tasks as reasonably required What You’ll Bring Solid B2C sales background (education or service sector experience is a plus) Proven experience as a Sales Trainer, Sales Enablement Lead, or Sales Coach Deep understanding of the sales cycle and the techniques that drive conversion and retention Skilled facilitator—confident delivering in-person and virtual training sessions Tech-savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and dialer/call tracking tools Analytical mindset: Able to interpret sales data and tailor training for impact Excellent communication, feedback, and interpersonal skills CIPD L&D qualifications or sales training certifications (e.g. ISM, CMI) – desirable Why Join Us at HEP?
