TeamJobs are working with a well-established and growing business in Weymouth to recruit an experienced Financial Controller on a temporary basis. This is a great opportunity to step into a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of the finance function and support senior leadership with key decision-making.
The Role:
* Oversee day-to-day finance operations (AP, AR, payroll support)
* Prepare monthly management accounts and cash flow forecasts
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Ensure compliance with VAT, tax, and financial regulations
* Assist with audit and statutory accounts
* Drive process improvements and support business performance
* Lead and support a small finance team
About You:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
* Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
* Strong management accounts and reporting experience
* Confident using Sage and Excel
* Hands-on, detail-focused, and able to hit the ground running
Manufacturing or engineering experience would be advantageous.
