The Role You’ll deliver engaging and creative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop practical skills, problem-solving ability, and design thinking. Depending on your specialism (e.g. Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, or Food Technology), you’ll be responsible for: Planning and delivering well-structured, hands-on lessons. Encouraging creativity, precision, and innovation in student projects. Managing workshops safely and effectively, following health & safety guidelines. Who We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Design & Technology or related subject. Experience teaching D&T across KS3–KS4 (KS5 experience desirable). Strong subject knowledge and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning. Passion for creativity, innovation, and supporting student achievement.
