Lighting Engineer\n\nContract type: Temp - perm\nWorking hours: Monday to Friday 8am till 4pm - Overtime opportunities available\nSalary - £25,389\nLocation: Derby\nPlease note you will need a driving license for this role, as you will be travelling to different sites across the UK, at times this role may require working away at a different location in the UK, where overnight stays are required.\n\nWe are looking for someone with basic knowledge of technical elements associated with lighting production design and installation; to join one of our clients in the Construction Material testing industry, you will need experience with power tools, ladders and lifts.\n\nAs an Lighting Engineer you will have:\n* A Full UK driving license\n* Be ok with Independent working\n* Flexibility and ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines\n* Exceptional attention to detail \n* Strong work ethic\n* Ability to work unsupervised \n* The ability to be both proactive and reactive in a timely and professional manner\n\nMain Duties/Responsibilities\n\n* Daily driving to sites and testing mainly on residentials roads\n* Assisting in any lighting installations\n* Abide by RWS technical site safety programs to meet industry standards\n* Must have ability to work at height of 40 feet off the ground\n* Strong electric background/knowledge\n* Sorting through and processing information\n* Assisting in any lighting productions \n* Attend daily safety meetings\n* Adhering to all Health and Safety procedures \n* Scheduling and prioritising allocated work on a daily basis\n* Learning the procedures and understand parameters of producing a quality output\n* Articulating and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues and clients\n\nEssential requirements:\n* Full UK driving license \n* Basic knowledge of all technical elements associated with lighting production\n* 2 years of professional lighting experience (desirable) \n Have a strong groundworks/earthworks background Testing experience \n\nBenefits:\nBlue Arrow is a Nationwide Agency based throughout the UK we have branches in all locations work is always on offer.
