Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Information Governance and Records Management Department.
* Process access to health records requests and assist clinical services with record release and redaction.
* Assist with Freedom of Information Act requests, acknowledge and log requests, and cover FOI officer during absences.
* Retrieve, file, track and archive health records on and off site using electronic tracking and Dataspace live systems.
* Ensure compliance with Data Protection Legislation, the Access to Health Records Act 1990 and Information Governance standards.
Qualifications
Required skills and experience:
* Clear understanding of IG and records management principles.
* Experience with electronic health record systems.
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
