Job Summary
The Complaints and Compliance Officer (CCO) is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organisations data protection, privacy, and compliance framework, while managing and resolving escalated customer complaints. The role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and promotes high standards of customer service and ethical practice across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a role model in delivering high levels of customer service and ensuring compliance with data protection and regulatory standards.
* Maintain integrity in all business relationships and operational procedures, upholding the highest ethical standards.
* Stay up to date with relevant legislation, regulatory bodies, and internal policies affecting complaints and compliance.
Compliance
1. Act as the first point of contact for all compliance, privacy, and data protection enquiries.
2. Manage and respond to data subject requests within regulatory timeframes.
3. Investigate data breaches and conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
4. Advise on compliance with GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
