Payroll Assistant required for an excellent business located in Ryton-on-Dunsmore. This role offers progression for someone to step up & eventually manage the payroll function in the next 12 months. \n \n£29,000 per annum \nOffice based role - Free parking - Ryton-on-Dunsmore\n7% pension contributions \n26 days holiday \nCompany bonus \n\nResponsibilities: \nProcess the weekly payroll from start to finish for 150 employees, including electronic timesheets, starters, leavers, statutory payments, allowances, and deductions.
\nMaintain payroll records using internal systems, spreadsheets, and databases. \nAssist in administering statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and SPP. \nSupport in recording and managing employee holiday and sickness entitlements.
\nProvide weekly payroll costing analysis when requested. \nCover responsibilities of the Payroll Supervisor when required. \nAssist in the preparation and distribution of supervisor payments.
\nProgress toward responsibilities associated with the monthly payroll. \n \nRequirements: \nExperience in payroll is ESSENTIAL \nTeam player \nExcellent communication skills \nAbility to handle confidential data & information
