Join us as an Administrator and make an invaluable contribution to our Food Safety & Biosecurity! As an Animal Health Monitoring Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our labs. Working closely with the Delivery Manager, you’ll manage a range of administrative tasks, coordinate sample logistics, and maintain accurate records. Your contribution will be key to ensuring the efficiency and precision of our laboratory services. What you’ll be doing: Providing administrative support including managing emails, preparing quotations, and onboarding new customers. Coordinating sample logistics with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery and compliance with import regulations. Maintaining accurate records in CRM and LIMS systems, including customer data and sample tracking. Supporting stock control by conducting weekly stocktakes and preparing consumables for shipment and sterilisation. Assisting laboratory operations during peak periods with sample preparation, equipment checks, and housekeeping tasks. Ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, purchase order management, and delivery coordination for AHM customers. Reviewing laboratory reports, quotes, and tenders for accuracy and maintaining up-to-date price lists. Liaising with mailroom and regulatory bodies to manage sample arrivals and notify relevant teams of any issues. What we’re looking for: Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a laboratory or scientific environment. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Excel; experience with LIMS is a plus. Excellent written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Familiarity with laboratory procedures and terminology is desirable.
