Earlier finish on Fridays Temporary – Permanent Position (Full Time) The School and Role Vision for Education are currently recruiting a Sports Coach to work in a specialist education and care service based in Chesterfield. The service caters for young people aged years with a range of needs. These include social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, complex needs such as attachment disorders, trauma or anxiety, a high functioning autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), pathological demand avoidance (PDA) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The role requires a Sports Coach to transfer into a classroom setting, to work as SEND Teaching Assistants. The setting based in a brand-new site in Chesterfield is a pupil referral unit (PRU) and caters for young individuals who have been excluded from a mainstream school setting. Please note: This role is classroom based in a school Requirements The desired Sports Coach will have: - Experience of working with primary and Secondary school aged children - Experience of working with pupils SEMH, EBD, complex needs, trauma and high functioning autism. - A passion for the progress of pupils - An ability to work as part of a team - Must have a driver’s licence, access to a car and business insurance.
