Brief Description
Working within the Edinburgh Delivery unit providing project management support to the maintenance function. To manage the development and delivery of projects to agreed scope, time, cost and quality requirements, leading on the implementation of efficiency initiatives across the delivery unit and supporting the delivery unit with business change initiatives as well as delivering projects relating to asset and performance improvements.

Responsibilities
* Agree remit and success criteria of projects with the relevant Executive Sponsors and Functional Directors.
* Manage the development and delivery of projects in compliance with company processes and procedures.
* Manage the production of project management plans for projects.
* Establish and manage collaborative cross‑functional teams to deliver projects, where appropriate.
* Deliver regular progress reports on projects, including relevant risks and issues, to Executive Sponsors and Functional Directors.
* Manage project budgets within agreed targets.
* Promote and monitor the use of efficiency improvement methods.
* Manage the delivery of the efficiency programme on behalf of Edinburgh DU.
* Creation of funding requests and investment papers for performance improvement projects.
* Managing the delivery of performance improvement projects through all stages of the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
* Experience of working in change projects.
* Understanding of applying project methodologies.
Desirable Qualifications
* Educated to degree level.
* Member of a project association.
* Commercial and financial awareness.
Salary
Starting at £35,582 and rising to £42,218 per annum.
