As a Night Support Worker, you will be working at our 4 Bed Childrens home in Penn, WV4 which offers emergency care and support for children and young people aged up to 18 years, who have mild to severe learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.
This home responds to the needs of children where they face a disruption of a placement, be that a breakdown at home, within a foster placement or within a residential setting. It is to provide an extended break for children, as part of a plan to prevent further placement breakdown.
You will be working an average of 42 hrs per week covering 12 hr Night shifts from 9pm : 9am and will work alternating weekends.
Responsibilities Provide a caring, consistent home environment for each young person Check the children regularly throughout the night and respond to their needs Undertake cleaning and laundry duties Support with the childrens morning routine to get them up and ready for school or the day ahead Qualifications Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People)
