Hybrid Working: 37.5 hours/week, based in the studio at least 2 days a week

We are Prosper, an ambitious collective of designers, architects and interior experts specialising in retail experience. We are looking for a Design Coordinator within our growing Retail Design Delivery team.
We are looking for someone with a passion for architecture and design, you will also need to be highly motivated, organised and have exceptional communication skills. The role will involve inspiring, coordinating, managing, and approving the design of individual stores to ensure the highest quality of retail design is achieved to meet the vision for our clients' environments.
The Design Coordinator will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to deliver an effective design strategy and vision.
We are looking for an organised individual with a passion for design. We expect you to be a team player, maintaining close relationships with other staff members along with our client's teams. The Design Coordinator will be a good communicator and have a fast and responsive attitude with the ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
Setting the retail design principles for shopping centre environments.
Achieve a smooth transition and good working relationship with retailers from concept to store opening.
Provide inspiration and develop good design practices with your assigned retailers.
Understand the retailer's brand aspirations and operational requirements to negotiate workable solutions to achieve high standards with their store fit outs.
Attend regular meetings with client and retailer teams to provide updates and status reports.
Write design standards and develop design guides for shopping centre environments.
Skill Set
Be a strong communicator with excellent English written and oral communication skills.
Have a strong Passion for design and keeping up to date with design trends and materials.
High level negotiating skills in a retail design and construction environment.
Good knowledge of planning and building regulations
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Full, clean drivers licence and ability to travel independently across the UK to site
Software Requirements
Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign and Photoshop
Fluent with Microsoft Office.
Training for retail design delivery is available for candidates that have the right skill sets and attitude.
