Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fire Risk Advisor to join our team here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
The service is responsible for the effective identification of fire safety risks across the Council and supporting the development of solutions to reduce the potential for harm. The services provided by the Council are diverse and provide a compelling environment for a Fire Safety professional to work in.
In this role, you will be part of a team of highly competent Health & Safety professionals to respond to the Council’s existing and emerging health & safety risks.
We are looking for a dynamic individual to support our plans for a high performing Health and Safety Service and ensure the service continues to evolve and develop to meet the future needs of the Council.
In this role, you will be conducting fire risk assessments, fire safety audits/inspections and DSEAR assessments of Council premises, sites and work operations as required. You will use your experience of fire risk management to provide expert advice and guidance to our services, ensuring a safer environment for our employees, visitors and residents.
Please note: to be considered for this role, you must hold or be working towards membership of the Institution of Fire Safety Management (IFSM).
