Are you an experienced vet looking to thrive in a supportive, well-equipped, and community-focused practice? We're representing a first-opinion small animal practice near Leicester looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their close-knit team.
Run by a dedicated Lead Vet and Lead Nurse who are passionate about creating a positive and collaborative working environment, this practice with a growing and loyal client base, sees a diverse caseload including small furries and exotics, working alongside a visiting orthopaedic vet to keep things varied and rewarding.

• Salary from £50,000+ DOE
• No out-of-hours work
• 20-minute consults, giving you time to provide great care
• 1 admin day, 2 consult days, 1 surgery day - a structured and balanced week
• Generous CPD support (5 days/year) with encouragement for certificates

• Loyalty bonus scheme & hourly premium
The Facilities:
• 3 consult rooms (1 doubles as X-ray room)
• Theatre, prep room, lab, and separate dog/cat kennels
• Isolation ward that supports exotic care
• Digital X-ray, cardiac-capable ultrasound, and in-house lab equipment
About You:
They're looking for a small animal vet, ideally with 2-4+ years' experience, who brings compassion, curiosity, and dedication to doing the right thing for their patients. If you have an interest in exotics - even better!
You'll have:
• Strong consult and routine surgery skills
• A proactive approach and willingness to continue learning
• A collaborative attitude - we're a team-first practice
