Data System Specialist – 24 month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Market Drayton
Contract: Full-Time, 24 month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: Monday–Friday (40 hours)

In the UK, Müller produces a wide range of leading branded and private-label dairy products. This role invites you to apply for our Data System Specialist (24 month FTC) position.
What you’ll do
* Work with Management to identify business and information needs. Collaborate with the Business Process Owner and Application Owner, IT, leading and implementing projects (e.g., Fastec, Augmentir and other UTM Target Systems) and be responsible for
* Deriving application specific requirements from process design
* Consolidating service quality and conducting cost-benefit analysis for IT investments
* Being the point of contact for all key end users regarding business topics
* Coordinating with the Application Owner IT to ensure service quality and system uptime
* Providing end-user training
* Managing the application life cycle
* Accurately capturing and clearly documenting requirements
* Delivering clarity, alignment, and consistency across projects by managing the full life cycle of requirements from discovery and analysis to validation and change control
* Being the Subject Matter Expert for Operations Systems and representing the Operations functions in business projects
* SAP PPPI Key User training as part of the role with a deep understanding of how SAP PPPI is used in Müller
* Leading and implementing projects
What you’ll bring
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject (engineering, computer science, information systems)
* Good understanding of business processes, IT, and ability to prioritise business needs
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to critically examine data and processes
* Dairy Science, milk processing, and CIP knowledge
* Project management experience
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel
* Knowledge of SQL databases and other data handling/visualisation tools
* Lean IX knowledge
* Goal and solution orientation
* Strong analytical skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence
