Overview of Role:
The primary responsibility of our Gas Engineers is to maintain and repair heating systems in our clients' properties. They will ensure that the heating and hot water systems operate efficiently and safely, and that any repairs are completed promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region.
* Ensure high levels of customer care when dealing with clients and tenants to meet quality standards.
* Communicate updates and progress of work, completing required paperwork electronically and manually.
* Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH Records during daily work.
* Follow stock ordering and auditing procedures to ensure relevant parts are available to fulfill job requirements.
Key Attributes & Requirements:
* Gas qualifications are essential, including at minimum CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
* Availability for out-of-hours evening and weekend cover on a rota basis.
* A friendly and professional attitude to build strong relationships with clients and tenants.
* Completion of all appropriate criminal and reference checks before starting work.
