Residential Property Solicitor | 5+ PQE | Norwich
A respected regional firm is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to its Norwich team. This is a key role in a department known for technical accuracy, clear communication and a grounded, personable approach that has earned long-standing loyalty from clients and agents across the region.
What You’ll Be Doing
Purchases, sales and refinancing
Managing freehold and leasehold matters from instruction to completion, including high-value and technically involved transactions where clear communication and sound judgement are essential.
High-value and complex work
Acting for high-net-worth clients on premium properties, unusual titles, multi-party chains and listed homes, with plenty of opportunities for proactive problem-solving.
Market-facing relationships
Working closely with trusted local agents, surveyors and search providers. The team is well known in the market, so relationship-building tends to feel natural rather than forced.
Supervision and support
Offering guidance to junior colleagues and contributing to the team’s overall quality and development.
You’ll work day-to-day with an experienced Team Leader who is actively involved in the strategy and growth of the Norwich offering.
About You
You’ll be a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with at least five years’ residential property experience, including high-value or technically involved work.
You’ll be comfortable balancing autonomy with teamwork, confident in managing your own files while appreciating the value of shared knowledge and close collaboration. Strong communication, attention to detail and a calm, client-focused approach are essential. Supervisory experience is helpful but not essential.
What’s on Offer
This is a team built around personal service rather than volume. You’ll have time to work cases properly, speak to clients directly and build strong relationships with agents who value clarity and pragmatism.
You’ll also benefit from:
• A collaborative culture with genuine day-to-day support
• Opportunities to develop your expertise through more complex matters
• Clear progression routes within a large, multi-office firm
• Strong admin support and access to specialist teams across real estate
• A manageable, healthy caseload from day one
The firm offers a modern, flexible working environment with benefits including private healthcare, enhanced family leave, profit share, gym partnerships, electric car schemes and hybrid working.
