BMI Advisory is currently seeking a Business Development Director for a 6-month fixed-term contract, based out of our London office.

Our BMI Advisory team is small, collaborative, rapidly growing, and highly visible, operating from London and Mumbai. We deliver custom research solutions to Fitch Solutions' new business and client audiences. In this role, you will:
1. Have a highly visible role, working across and influencing global sales teams.
2. Join at an early stage and help shape the direction of our growing Advisory business.
3. Be part of a collaborative and dynamic environment where teamwork is valued.
4. Use Advisory as a platform to contribute to thought leadership and innovative solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
* Originate, close deals, and exceed revenue targets.
* Drive engagement with sales teams to generate leads and promote BMI's Advisory services.
* Design and implement advisory solutions tailored to client needs.
* Participate in client meetings, craft proposals, and meet sales targets.
* Collaborate across teams to develop insights and solutions.
* Mentor and support other team members.
* Innovate research methodologies and solutions.
* Engage with clients virtually and in person to present solutions and gather feedback.
* Coordinate with delivery and research teams and support live projects as needed.
You May be a Good Fit if:
* You have a track record of exceeding sales targets.
* You have at least 5 years of experience in custom research and analysis, including solution design.
* You possess exceptional communication skills.
* You are skilled in problem-solving using critical, rational, and creative thinking.
* You can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
