We are in search of a profoundly dedicated teaching assistant focused on fostering learning and promoting positive conduct among children. This is an Ad-hoc full-time role (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) dedicated to supporting children in a mainstream primary school located in the YO62 area. We also have part time roles available.

1. The ability to assess learning requirements and proactively explore innovative teaching approaches.
2. Readiness and capability to adjust to changing situations.
3. Capacity to offer individualised attention, reassurance, and assistance with learning activities.
4. Strong comprehension of child development and the learning process.
5. Possession of an updated Enhanced DBS check on the update service or readiness to obtain a new one.
6. Proficiency in the national Key Stage Curriculum.
7. Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
Roles & responsibilities:
8. Contribute to the implementation of individualised educational plans tailored to meet each child's learning goals.
9. Establish rapport with all children, adjusting communication to suit their comprehension levels.
10. Advocate for an inclusive and diverse learning atmosphere, ensuring equitable opportunities for every child.
11. Promote independence through a variety of activities and assignments.
12. Aid in presenting children work and participate in the preparation of educational resources.
13. Provide support in hands-on activities, employing a range of teaching aids.
14. Cultivate positive conduct and empower children to take responsibility for their actions.
15. Assist in overseeing children in the absence of the class teacher, working alongside other support staff.
