Your Responsibilities as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant: Deliver pre-planned lessons across different year groups in the teacher’s absence. Support teaching and learning through small group and 1:1 intervention. Assist in monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to class teachers. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to plan and adapt learning activities. Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively. Requirements: HLTA status or equivalent qualification. Experience supporting pupils in a primary or secondary school setting. Confidence in leading lessons and managing classroom routines.
