A welcoming and well-established primary school on the outskirts of Chester is looking to appoint a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across Key Stage 1.
This role is working closely with a small number of children who require consistent, nurturing support to engage with learning and routines. You’ll be part of a supportive SEN team and work alongside an experienced class teacher who values strong TA input.
The role will involve:
* 1:1 and small group SEN support
* Supporting pupils with ASD, speech & language needs or social/emotional challenges
* Assisting with tailored learning plans and behaviour strategies
* Creating a calm, structured learning environment
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has previous experience supporting SEN pupils in a primary setting
* Is patient, resilient and genuinely passionate about inclusion
* Can build positive relationships with children and staff
* Holds (or is willing to work towards) relevant TA/SEN qualifications
