HRGO Recruitment is currently seeking a Quality Laboratory Technician to join a busy and well‑established client. This role offers a great opportunity to work within a quality‑driven environment, supporting product safety, compliance, and overall quality standards.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Quality Assurance department by carrying out laboratory testing, sampling, and ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out goods‑in sampling, including density and moisture analysis
* Perform blend checks and approvals
* Prepare and process samples for internal and external laboratory testing
* Complete chemical and product testing as required
* Record and input laboratory results into internal systems (e.g. SAP)
* Maintain accurate documentation, including submission forms and sample logs
* Assist with new product development activities
* Support preparation of lab equipment and materials for testing
* Ensure compliance with GMP and health & safety standards
* Identify and elevate any quality, safety or compliance issues
* Work collaboratively with other departments to support quality objectives
Requirements
* Previous experience within a laboratory or quality environment is desirable
* Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) is advantageous
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records
* Good communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
* Understanding of food safety standards (e.g. HACCP, GMP) is beneficial

* Driving licence required due to location
* Overtime may be available
