What you’ll do:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll work across a variety of settings including classrooms, kitchens, and workshops-providing vital support to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. You’ll play a key role in helping them succeed in their studies and develop essential life skills, offering both academic and pastoral care. This includes:
* Building positive, supportive relationships with students
* Providing one-to-one and group support
* Assisting with personal care and administering medication where needed
* Promoting independence, inclusion, and confidence

What we’re looking for:
As a Learning Assistant, you will be empathetic, reliable, and proactive, with the ability to adapt to students’ individual needs. You’ll need:
* GCSE English at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Experience working with individuals with learning difficulties or disabilities
* A calm and confident approach to managing behaviour (experience with challenging behaviour is a plus)
