We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £55,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). A company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and death in service.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
Oversee the day-to-day running of the site, managing teams, contractors, and visitors.
* Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate site operations and meet processing volumes.
* Lead from the front on service delivery, budgetary KPIs, and contractual commitments.
* Ensure all shift activities comply with SOPs, SSOWs, and safety procedures.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement and career progression within your team.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven experience in warehouse/distribution operations within a fast-paced environment.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with stakeholder management experience.
* IT literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly; NEBOSH or CITB MAPS advantageous.
* A safety-first mindset with knowledge of HSEQ and regulatory compliance.
