We are seeking skilled bank nurses to join the James Paget Hospital team.
Responsibilities:
1. Assess basic and specialist care needs of patients and implement care plans independently.
2. Act professionally to maintain public trust and safeguard patient interests.
3. Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate care programs.
4. Maintain standards of nursing practice within the ward/department.
5. Adhere to all Trust, Divisional, and Ward/Department Health & Safety policies.
6. Maintain personal contact with patients, healthcare professionals, relatives, and visitors.
7. Provide mentorship and support to new staff and student nurses.
8. Undertake enhanced roles after appropriate training, such as IV drug administration and ECG recording.
9. Ensure the safe custody and administration of drugs in accordance with Trust policy.
