Talent Guardian are proud to be recruiting for a Marketing Assistant on behalf of a leading wholesaler in the food and drink industry in Reading .\n This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a newly created role supporting both the marketing and buying departments. We’re seeking a highly organised and proactive individual who will play a key part in streamlining the product launch process and ensuring smooth coordination of marketing assets and administrative tasks.\n\n Key Responsibilities: \nCoordinate design assets and imagery for catalogues, website, and marketing materials \nLiaise with suppliers to ensure timely submission of images and assets to spec \nMaintain quality standards for file naming, artwork setup, and product data \nUpload new product lines and promotions to internal systems \nDistribute the weekly internal bulletin \nUpdate and manage website imagery via the CMS \nPerform basic artwork edits (e.g. background removal) \nDistribute Product Information Pages to the sales team \nUpload product images to retailer portals \nManage catalogue stock and promotional materials \nCoordinate product samples for launches, events, and trade shows \nMaintain the database \nProvide general admin support to the marketing and buying teams About You: \nMinimum 1 year’s experience in a marketing or buying team \nKeen interest in the food and drink industry \nProficient with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop) \nStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel & PowerPoint \nFamiliarity with CMS systems is a plus \nComfortable with tools like Canva \nHighly organised and deadline-driven with sharp attention to detail \nConfident communicator, both written and verbal \nProactive, hands-on approach with the ability to manage projects independently What’s in it for you?
