Salary: £55,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements:
* We are looking for a Crypto Network Specialist who has a solid understanding of cryptographic equipment and management processes, including key lifecycle, custody, evidence, and compliance. You should be self-motivated, ambitious, and tenacious, with the ability to work under pressure. A strong analytical mindset and a methodical approach to document management are essential. Additionally, strong IPv4 fundamentals such as subnetting, routing, ACLs, NAT, and troubleshooting, as well as familiarity with common enterprise protocols (OSPF/BGP, HSRP/VRRP, 802.1Q, Port-Channels) are necessary. You should be comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Windows Server/AD, Linux, and VMware vSphere to support network/security services. Experience working with monitoring tools (such as PRTG or Nagios) to inform troubleshooting is also required.
Responsibilities:
* In this role, you will own our cryptographic estate and processes and be an active, hands-on member of the Network Security team. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and governing crypto operations.
* Managing Crypto Network processes, including ordering, key material edition validity, and equipment deliveries.
* Ensuring Crypto Management Plans are completed and submitted to relevant authorities on time.
* Performing mandated checks on cryptographic devices and documenting them according to agreed standards.
* Collaborating with Crypto custodians to ensure accurate information transfer and maintaining records.
* Coordinating crypto change windows (key loads/rollovers), supporting incident responses related to crypto assets, and driving continuous improvement in crypto processes.
* Managing internet domain registrations, contributing to documentation, and supporting the Network Security Manager with the daily management of Network Security engineers.
* Reporting to the Network Operations Manager and helping to implement secure changes, identify vulnerabilities, manage incidents, and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements.
