TeacherActive is thrilled to be working with a private day nursery based within Leeds. The nursery provides an exceptional level of care for the children within the setting, with several rooms set up to cater for the variety of ages of the children in the setting. The staff work as a team to provide many learning opportunities for the children, designing activities that support the different areas of development whilst also catering to the interests of the children.
The nursery is currently searching for an Early Years Assistant to join their team. The successful applicant will join the team in creating a calm and comfortable environment for the children to learn and develop new skills, as well as ensuring that they are safe at all times. The successful Early Years Assistant will be enthusiastic about working within the Early Years sector, as well as eager to learn new skills and be willing to learn about and follow safeguarding policies and procedures.
The successful Early Years Assistant will:
Be enthusiastic, caring and eager to help young children learn and develop
Be creative, and help set up activities which stimulate the children’s interests.
Be ready for a challenge and eager to learn new skills.
