Construction Manager | Contracts Manager Designate | Hertfordshire Salary of up to £75,000 plus mileage allowance and pension An opportunity for an ambitious Construction Manager / Project Manager who is looking to step into more of a management/advisory capacity (not site based managing subcontractors) for a long-established name in the fit-out sector. Projects are fast track retail and include new store developments and upgrades in live environments throughout London and the Southeast. The ideal candidate will be currently working for a contractor or specialist contractor and have recent experience in retail / shopfitting. In either a Construction Manager or Project Manager capacity. A formal qualification in construction is not a prerequisite, you could be a time served tradesman/woman with proven managerial/supervisory experience. You will receive a structured familiarisation programme and will work closely with an Account Manager/Director, who will introduce you to the business and key clients. You will run your own contracts, working closely with their in-house design and commercial teams. This is an office-based role overseeing the contracts/administration of projects.
