Position Overview: As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients with their financial needs. You will have the opportunity to engage in business development activities, fostering relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities to expand the client base. Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of clients, providing comprehensive accounting services including bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial analysis.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing expert guidance on financial matters.
* Identify opportunities for business development and growth, proactively seeking out new clients and revenue streams.
* Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions to meet client needs.
* Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting standards and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices are followed.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
* Strong technical accounting skills, with the ability to prepare financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
* Proven track record in business development, with a results-driven mindset and the ability to identify and pursue opportunities for growth.
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
