Radiology Staff Nurse
As a Radiology Staff Nurse you will support the Radiology team of Radiology Assistants, Radiographers, Radiologists and all other staff within the department.
* Assisting and supporting with all invasive procedures, including elective, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures across all modalities.
* Admitting, assessing, and supporting both patients and their relatives during their experience in radiology.
* Admitting and assessing patients pre‑ and post‑elective, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Day Case Unit.
* Assisting and scrubbing with the radiologist in the interventional rooms for all procedures.
* Monitoring patients throughout procedures and acting as a circulating nurse, providing equipment to both the scrub person and the radiologist.
* Upon achieving all competencies, pursuing further development in airway management with conscious sedation.
* Being part of the on‑call team covering a weekday a week and one in four weekends a month.
