Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, generally 9.00am to 5.00pm
Salary: £26,680 to £29,442 per annum (subject to skills and experience)

As People Coordinator (Maternity Cover), you’ll play an important role in keeping our People services running smoothly, supporting colleagues and volunteers who make a real difference in our community.
We’re looking for someone who has a genuine passion for HR – someone who keeps up to date with employment law and best practice, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality, compliant and people‑focused processes. If you enjoy the detail, like to stay informed, and care about workplace culture, you’ll thrive in this role.
Working as part of a small and friendly People Team, you’ll work across a broad range of HR activities in a hands‑on and varied role.
About the role
No two days are the same in this busy and rewarding position. You’ll be a key point of contact for managers and employees, ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in line with current legislation and best practice.
The focus of this maternity cover is continuity – maintaining strong people practices, providing practical support, and keeping established processes running smoothly. You’ll work closely with the People Manager and People Administrator, with full handover and support provided.
