We wish to appoint an inspiring teacher who also has experience of tutoring. The successful candidate will be able to use assessment and teaching strategies precisely to enhance children’s progress and individual learning journeys. We are recruiting an experienced tutor to plan and deliver 1:1 and small group tutoring. The successful candidate will: Inspire confidence and a love of learning Deliver engaging, one to one and small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual pupil needs. Use assessment within tutoring sessions to adapt the learning in response to pupil progress. Create a positive and structured learning environment. Assess and track student progress to maximise learning. Provide meaningful feedback to the pupil and class teacher. We have strong links with St Leonard’s Church and candidates will be expected to support the Christian Distinctiveness of our school.
