We have an immediate start for A Warehouse Operative in the NE15 area. M4 Specialists are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work for one of our well-known national clients based in Newcastle ( NE15 9RT). The operation runs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with warehouse staff working on a set rota of 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off with overtime available. The warehouse operations are critical to ensuring fresh produce is loaded and ready for same day deliveries. This UK leading supplier of fresh bakery products are well known in various stores including mayor high street supermarkets to local retailers and pride themselves on delivering fresh produce daily. The warehouse team operation is critical in organising and loading the vehicles, preparing the racks for distribution and working as a team to ensure delivery deadlines are met. Shifts and pay rates for the role of Warehouse Operative: Evening shifts immediately required 1600 0400 working hours 40 hours a week 4 shifts on 4 shifts off with overtime available £12.21 - £14.79 per hour for nights shifts with overtime available. As a Warehouse Operative You will be responsible for: Loading baked goods into racks for delivery. Counting and recording quantities of goods to match order details. Working with the warehouse team leaders to ensure vehicle departure times are met Cleaning and preparing the returned racks for the next deliveries. For the role of Warehouse Operative you will need: To be passionate, able to work in a team. Own transport and be able to get to the location, as public transport is limited at the shift finish. To be able to adapt to working in a face paced distribution environment. Make sure the products reach the right vehicles, on time and in great condition.
