We are currently searching for a Transport Manager to join our clients growing manufacturer based in Eastbourne.
As our Transport Manager you will oversee all aspects of the company's delivery operations whilst optimising operational efficiencies and striving for improvements wherever possible.
Key responsibilities as our Transport Manager
Oversee daily transport operations, including scheduling, compliance with O Licence and tachograph legislation, and cost control.
Ensure fleet and drivers remain fully compliant, roadworthy, and trained, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement across operations by forecasting fleet requirements, planning resources, and delivering cost-saving initiatives.Who we are looking for as our Transport Manager
A strong leader who can motivate, develop, and engage drivers while upholding professional standards and a positive team culture.
A proactive problem solver with the ability to identify trends, manage risks, and implement creative solutions to improve performance.
A compliance-focused professional with excellent knowledge of transport legislation, safety requirements, and best practices.In exchange for your hard work you will enjoy a basic salary up to £40,000 per annum.
