DESCRIPTION We are looking for a several Material Handlers to join our team specialising in Manufacturing Logistics for our Cummins Engine Plant in Darlington, United Kingdom. This is a full-time position on a temporary 3-month rolling contract. Working hours: 37.5 hours per week on a rotating 3-shift pattern: Nights: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:00am Days: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm Backs: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm, and Friday 6:00am - 7:10pm In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Under direct or close supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions, and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse. Receive incoming goods, check for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices. Accurately sort, label, and store goods while arranging storage to optimize warehouse space. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Pick sequenced kits for and line feed assembly lines. Operate powered material handling equipment for example forklift trucks. Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, identifying and reporting hazards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine housekeeping and machine care tasks. Work collaboratively with team members and support staff to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Engage in continuous training and process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. Strong work ethic and reliability. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided. Familiarity with warehouse tools, systems, and methodologies is an advantage. Flexibility - Willing to cross train and work across the full campus. MHE training on a variety of equipment.
