Job Description:
Eden Scott’s client is seeking a Client Onboarding & Governance Analyst for a 12-month role based in Edinburgh. The position is hybrid, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
As a Client Onboarding & Governance Analyst, you will ensure that investment management agreements (IMAs) and related client documentation are accurately maintained, reviewed, and compliant with regulatory standards and internal policies. You will liaise between internal teams—including Legal, Compliance, and Client Services—and external clients to facilitate a seamless governance process.
Key Responsibilities
* Review, update, and maintain IMA and client contractual documentation.
* Collaborate with Legal and Compliance to ensure contractual terms meet regulatory standards and company policies.
* Assist in onboarding new clients and amending existing agreements.
* Coordinate with Investment, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure contractual obligations are understood and fulfilled.
* Monitor key governance deliverables and prepare for client reviews, audits, and meetings.
* Contribute to improving client governance processes and documentation control.
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience in client governance or similar roles within asset/investment management.
* Knowledge of IMAs, pooled fund documentation, and side letters.
* Understanding of regulatory frameworks (FCA, MiFID II, UCITS/AIFMD).
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
