Mathmos, the inventors and manufacturers of the iconic lava lamp, seek an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Poole, Dorset. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a British heritage brand, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials and products across our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to maintain quality and timely delivery of components and sub-assemblies.
* Manage all the production planning to optimise stock levels and fulfil customer demand from our different fulfilment locations.
* Take responsibility for all transport and logistics to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements across all aspects of the supply chain.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, and logistics, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
* Proven supply chain planning experience and familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain software.Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* An ability to work collaboratively, under pressure, and manage multiple priorities.
