Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Job Description
Duties
* This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
* Support exhibitions for the courses and open studio dept, invigilate and or support other KCAT events and exhibitions
* Collaborate with exhibitions and events teams and artists, encourage art making and creativity, supporting all artists
* Demonstrate awareness, understanding and positive action in support of inclusive creative environments and practices
* Support community engagement communication and participation including liaising and relationship building with external stakeholders
* Support the operations and safety practices and protocols of KCAT arts centre, including on site assistance as needed
* Support file and database management, including organisation and registration of courses and open studio applications and documentation
* Assist with external and promotional communications, including but not limited to website, public relations, and social media
* Provide general administrative support or other on site support to KCAT departments
* Work collaboratively with the courses and open studio team as well as KCAT staff and volunteers
* For all the above activities training will be provided, no experience needed
Skills that would be advantages: written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational abilities and attention to detail, creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas, proficiency in Microsoft and social media applications, education and/or experience in visual arts or other arts or social inclusion. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
