No previous experience in care is required as you will be provided with full training by our excellent and award-winning learning & development team prior to starting. This training initially consists of classroom-based sessions and e-learning, as well as the opportunity to shadow current Support Practitioners and meet the people you will be supporting.
We will also fully finance and support you to achieve your SVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification in-house!
Due to the nature of this role, applicants must have a valid driving license.
You must be flexible, as shifts vary from early, back, and late, starting from 8am until 9pm.
About The Role
Your responsibilities as an Outreach worker could include:
* Social Support: Assisting individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to leisure activities such as day centres, cinema, swimming, etc.
* Practical Support: Helping people to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks such as housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, shopping.

All successful Support Practitioner applicants will be given a conditional offer, subject to satisfactory references and PVG checks; having a conviction will not necessarily disqualify you from working in this sector.
All new staff members will be required to register with the SSSC within 3 months of their start date.
