Position Overview
As an Sales Support Administrator, you'll take ownership of supplier account management while ensuring customer orders are seamlessly booked and invoiced with precision. You'll be the key link between suppliers and internal teams, staying ahead of evolving supplier demands to keep operations running smoothly.
This is an entry‑level corporate position designed to help you build a strong foundation within a large and well‑established organisation. You'll receive daily support and guidance from your Line Manager, ensuring you gain the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to thrive.

Hybrid working
The role is full time in our Chesterfield Office (S40 2EX) with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home once training is completed)
Responsibilities
Build professional relationships by managing supplier accounts and supporting smooth, efficient transactions.
Coordinate the end‑to‑end order process, including booking‑in and invoicing, to help deliver a seamless customer experience.
Support daily operations with essential administrative tasks that keep the Order Fulfilment team running effectively.
Maintain accurate systems and timelines by progressing purchase orders, updating ETAs, and monitoring order pipelines for timely delivery.
Work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries, uphold service excellence, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
A great eye for detail and a strong administrative foundation, with the confidence to solve problems and adapt quickly in a fast‑moving environment.
Solid digital skills, including Excel and Outlook, along with a clear, professional phone manner and strong organisational abilities.
A supportive team player who enjoys collaborating, contributes positively to the team culture, and is always ready to lend a hand.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling positive and effective interactions with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
A proactive, curious mindset, with a genuine desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges as your role expands
