The Cardiac Catheter Lab (CCL) is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. Shift patterns include early shifts (7:30 am to 3:30 pm) and late shifts (10:30 am to 6:30 pm). Main duties of the job

The CCL is a state‑of‑the‑art cardiac facility with two theatres and a six‑bedded recovery area. It cares for patients undergoing cardiac interventions in a day‑case setting. Following the procedure and recovery period, patients are discharged via the CCL's bespoke discharge suite. As a new Senior Health Care Assistant, you will receive the highest standards of training to provide care to both acute and elective patients, making this a unique and varied role.

Once trained, you will assist the nursing staff with an extensive range of interventional cardiac procedures including diagnostic angiograms, coronary intervention, device implantation, cardioversion and cardiology diagnostics.
