Join us in supporting Sarah*, a vibrant woman with learning and physical disabilities, to live life her way. She loves swimming, local outings, and sharing meals with people who care.
You’ll support Sarah with daily routines from preparing meals and PEG feeding to joining in her favourite activities and helping her stay connected to her community. With a supportive team (and nurses available 24/7), you'll be trained to understand and respond to Sarah’s unique communication style.
No two days are the same, but every one matters. Your presence, your attention, and your energy will make all the difference.
The Role:
* 37.5 hours per week (rotating shifts incl. weekends & bank holidays)
* Must have a UK driving licence (manual or automatic, held for 2 years or more)
* No experience needed just empathy, curiosity, and a willingness to learn

About you
Of course we welcome you if you've been a care assistant or support worker, but experience isn’t necessary. If you share our values, are warm, friendly and willing to learn, you’re likely to be a great fit.

Training and Development
At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training and mentoring support whilst on the job.
But it doesn't stop there - throughout your career with us you will have access to our own dedicated in house Learning and Development team, Quality Specialists and HR Teams. These teams, along with your Manager, will provide you with opportunities to learn and develop professionally as well as enabling and supporting you to achieve professional qualifications and career progression opportunities - all free of charge.
