GSL Education are pleased to recruit a skilled 1:1 Teaching Assistant for schools in the S2 and S3 areas of Sheffield. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work closely with an individual pupil, offering tailored academic and emotional support to help them access learning and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide individualised support in and out of the classroom. Adapt learning materials to meet the pupil’s specific needs. Support the pupil’s social and emotional development. Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to implement support plans. Monitor progress and provide regular feedback as 1:1 Teaching Assistant. Requirements: Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting. Understanding of SEN and additional learning needs. Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
