Facilities / Project EngineerPay: £40 - £45 (Umbrella)Location: Havant, HampshireContract: 12-Month FTCHours: 37.5 Hours Per WeekClearance: BPSS to StartThe RoleAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities / Project Engineer to join a leading global defence and aerospace organisation within the Rotary and Mission Systems division. Based primarily in Havant, this role will also support sites in Westbury and Gloucester as required.You will be responsible for supporting and delivering a range of internal facilities projects involving electrical, mechanical, and civil works across secure operational environments. This is a varied and hands-on role requiring close collaboration with internal stakeholders including Facilities, Security, Health & Safety, IT, and operational user groups.Key Responsibilities: Supporting the development and delivery of internal facilities projectsProviding technical facilities input into project scopes and solution optionsAssisting with the development of scopes of work for procurement activitiesProducing and maintaining project plans and schedulesCoordinating with internal stakeholders and external contractorsReviewing contractor documentation and project paperworkSupporting project management activities through to completion and business sign-offEnsuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with building regulations and company standardsEssential Experience & Skills: Previous experience within Project Engineering or Project ManagementExperience within a facilities, construction, engineering, or defence environment would be highly advantageousGood understanding of project management methodologies and delivery techniquesWorking knowledge of 2D and/or 3D CAD software such as AutoCADExperience using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office applicationsUnderstanding of building regulations and facilities compliance requirementsStrong organisational and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage contractor activities and review technical documentationQualifications NEBOSH Level 2 Health & Safety qualification (minimum requirement)PRINCE2 certification or membership of a recognised professional project management body would be advantageousAdditional Information This role falls inside IR35BPSS clearance is required prior to startingTPBN1_UKTJ
